Term 1 News

What a great start to the year Term 1 has been!

Just a few reminders of upcoming events:

There will be a free dress day to raise money for Project Compassion on Tuesday the 27th of March. As this is our Cross Country Carnival, students are encouraged to wear a t-shirt in the colour of their sporting house. Please ensure t-shirts are sun safe and appropriate. Sports runners need to be worn to compete in the Cross Country event. Students need to bring a hat, water bottle and plenty of nutritious food to keep them energised for their run! They will be completing in a 1km or 2km event, depending on their year of birth.

Our Term 1 Showcase night will be on Wednesday the 28th of March. This is a great opportunity to visit the Year 5 classroom and check out all of the amazing work we have been completing throughout the term. Portfolios will be available to collect on this night. If you are unable to attend, portfolios will be sent home the following day, Thursday the 29th.

Good Friday falls on the 30th of March. There will be no school on this day, so our last day of Term 1 will be on Thursday the 29th of March.

Year 5 Maroon will also be running assembly this Wednesday, the 21st of March. All are welcome to attend!
