Welcome to Term 3!

Welcome back to Term 3! We hope you had a great holiday and are well rested for a new school term.

Below is a Term Overview:

Religion: Gospel Writers & Saints

Students will work through two Religion units this term. We will continue our exploration of how Gospel Writers shaped their writing for their audiences. We will then focus on the wisdom and writings of Saints.

English: Information Reports.

This unit will be linked to our History content as students will write an information report on a famous Australian.

HASS: Famous Australians.

We will be focusing on a range of individuals who have shaped the country in their various fields.

Maths: We will continue to cover a range of concepts throughout the term. We will focus on one concept each week.

Science: Adaptations:

We will be exploring how living things adapt to their environment in order to survive. Students will complete an explanation on their chosen plant or animal and will create a diorama that illustrates the living thing in its habitat.

Health: Conflict Resolution

We will be exploring a range of conflict resolution strategies. Students will gain an understanding of how each strategy can be employed and will evaluate the effectiveness of a strategy in a particular context.
