Here we go!

Week one is done! It was great to see all the smiling faces back and ready to go. We jumped straight into our learning for the term. Term 4 is a big one, jam-packed with fun and dates to remember (See Date Claimer page).

Report cards come out at the end of the term. There will be a Christmas Concert and Swimming Carnival to get involved in. 5G have their assembly coming.

Term 4 Learning Overview

English:

Reading - We will be continuing to work on our ability to decode and comprehend a variety of texts.

Writing - We will be continuing to develop our ability to create interesting and engaging narratives texts using a range of literary devices.

Math:

A weekly focus concept will continue throughout the term. We will continue to work on learning our multiplication tables.

History:

We will be delving into the history of the the Australian Gold Rush. Through investigation, we will be coming to conclusions about some of the events that occured during the gold rush period.

Science:

Our Place in Space - the Solar System. We will be exploring the elements of our solar system.
